Brothers Alex and Mathieu Cléon uphold the utilitarian style established by their veteran-turned-shoemaker grandfather, who started making shoes in 1945 just weeks after returning from the war. Derbys, loafers, and Chelsea boots are made by hand in France using leathers sourced from environmentally certified tanneries—a thoughtful process that guarantees the label’s robust and distinctively raw designs. Leather uppers differ in texture and shine, and sit atop a rubber lug sole that is uniform in color, combining the appeal of workwear with a delicate French polish.
