Its defining feature is the asymmetrical pocket design: a cigarette pocket on the right chest and a pouch-style “convenience pocket” on the left. These practical details were originally designed to protect paper-wrapped cigarettes from moisture and sweat. The cuffs are constructed with storm cuffs that help prevent snagging while keeping a clean silhouette. Patented Elbow Action Sleeves and the Strainproof Yoke provide extra mobility in the arms and help reduce stress on the back. These functional designs remain effective even today. The fabric is a Japanese-made 20×30 count selvage sulphur-dyed chambray. It develops a richer texture with wear, allowing you to enjoy its natural aging over time.
