Guide
This is a salt and pepper (black chambray, sesame salt) version of the Chambray shirt using original fabrics from Nigel Cabourn.
Because it is a mixture of short fibers of different colors and twisted together, it is characterized by the expression of fine sesame salt.
The design that was based on the shirt was worn by a doctor who joined the British mountaineering team of Edmund Hillary and Tenjin Norgay, who were the first humans to stand on the top of Mount Everest.
It has a characteristic structure with two layers of fabric from the entire circumference of the armhole to the shoulders and back, and the part from the cuffs to the armrests is also a double structure, and it is designed to withstand hard use.
There are 4 chrysanthemum holes on the back and 4 on the side, which is given a ventilation function and also an accent in terms of design.
The button uses a cat’s eye (cat’s eye button) processed from hard palm fruit. The thread sinks into the groove of the cut, and it is a detail that prevents the button from falling off due to thread breakage.
