This new trucker-style jean jacket boasts distinctive, appealing features, including contoured pocket flaps, a beautifully turned-down collar, a subtly modernized fit, and discreetly placed handwarmer pockets on the sides.

12.4oz OLDJOE original denim. Crafted in Ibara, the denim capital, this jacket is crafted with care, from the yarn itself, to express the original bulkiness and incorporate a rustic nep texture. The warp yarns, which have unevenness and strong neps, are dyed with a dark indigo dye, while the weft yarn is made from carefully selected, relatively beige cotton and tightly twisted. The fabric, known as kibata, is sanforized (pre-shrunk) using a special method. This method differs from standard shrinkage prevention, resulting in a soft texture without the stiff, glue-like texture commonly associated with rigid denim. This original denim has a primitive yet modern presence that is unique to OLDJOE, including the texture and rich color, the feel when you actually hold it in your hand, the ease of wearing it, and the use of thread.
