The Gentle Pants feature a slack-style silhouette with a vintage denim character, crafted from old shuttle-loom selvedge denim. Made using premium Supima cotton, spun into uneven yarn and rope-dyed in deep indigo or sulfur-dyed black, the fabric offers a distinctive texture with a soft, supple feel. Woven with low tension on vintage looms and finished as raw (unsanforized) denim, the fabric develops natural shrinkage and aging for an authentic vintage look. Through careful pattern and sewing adjustments, selvedge denim is incorporated into a slack-style trouser, resulting in a refined balance of vintage spirit and Sugar&Co.’s original identity.
