with 9.6oz OLDJOE original denim yarn and original Desinep, the warp yarn incorporates short-fiber cotton to capture the rustic, dry, and bulky feel of denim. The weft yarn is primarily American cotton blended with Australian and Brazilian cotton for a consistent texture, while the additional heat treatment creates a soft yet crisp feel. The rope dyeing process uses a deep, dark indigo dye to achieve a deep color. The fabric is woven from what's known as "kibata" and is then specially sanforized (pre-shrunk) to preserve the texture and texture of the kibata, while retaining its natural nap.
