Old Joe Saddle Straight Jean Trouser "945" Indigo

These saddle jeans are designed to complement boots with shafts. The belt loop layout, flat back pockets, and other classic details are designed with a twist. The silhouette is based on the "980" and is wider from the knee to the hem.

Crafted in Ibara, the denim capital, these jeans are made with 12.4oz OLDJOE original denim yarn, expressing the original bulkiness and incorporating a rustic nep texture. The warp yarns, which have unevenness and strong neps, are dyed with a dark indigo dye, while the weft yarn is made from carefully selected, relatively beige cotton and tightly twisted.

The fabric is woven, known as "kibata," and then sanforized (pre-shrunk) using a special method. This method is different from standard shrinkage prevention, resulting in a soft texture without the stiff, glue-like texture commonly associated with rigid denim. This original denim has a primitive yet modern presence that is unique to OLDJOE, including the rich texture and color, the feel when you actually hold it in your hand, the ease of wearing it, and the use of thread.
