These Gurkha-style shorts feature a distinctive pleated pocket positioned on one side. The shorter length, while offering ample room around the hips, provides a comfortable and relaxed fit. The center pleat adds a touch of dressiness.

Both the warp and weft threads are made from French linen. The weave is a standard herringbone pattern, but the thread density is woven to its maximum potential. Even the warping process requires considerable skill, and the thread density is finely adjusted each day based on the environment and yarn quality. Because the fabric is quite difficult to process, it undergoes slow, careful scouring multiple times before finishing, and silicone is impregnated during the final stage to create a resilient texture.
